The area of my research proposal that I am
having the greatest difficulty and it is causing me a pause.

The area that I am having the most difficulty with is the literature review.  Thus far, I was able to find some articles that relate to my research question.  However, I’m having a pause because I’m not sure of the procedure.  Do I first make my statement and then find supportive literature?  Or do I first find the literature and then add my support to it?  I’m not sure how to implement the information into my research proposal.
I may be able to overcome this difficulty by reading other literature reviews.   This will give me the opportunity to actually see a literature review; to see how it structured, the terminological.  If I can see it then I gain a clearer understanding of what is expected of me when writing the literature.  To overcome the difficulty I read an online article titled, “How to write a literature review,” by Shona McCombes.   This article offered a step-by-step guide on how to write a literature review.  It displayed explanations, and examples.  After reading the article I felt much more confident about write my literature review.
